Pantang Hospital marked its 50th anniversary celebrations with an Easter Jubilee Funfair, bringing together staff and management in a vibrant display of culture, unity, and reflection.
Held on the hospital grounds, the event formed part of activities commemorating the facility’s Golden Jubilee. It featured a colourful showcase of traditional, indigenous, and vintage “old school” attire worn by staff, including the Hospital Director, Deputy Director, and members of management.
The funfair provided an opportunity for staff to step away from their clinical duties and celebrate their cultural identities, with activities highlighting Ghanaian traditions and heritage.
A key feature of the event was a food bazaar, where a variety of indigenous meals prepared by staff were displayed and shared. The initiative underscored the diversity within the hospital community and the role of food in promoting unity and cultural appreciation.
Management noted that the event reflected the hospital’s long-standing service to a diverse population over the past five decades, while reinforcing a sense of togetherness among staff.
Pantang Hospital, one of Ghana’s key mental health institutions, is marking its 50th anniversary with a series of activities aimed at celebrating its history, staff, and contributions to healthcare delivery in the country.
