Pantang Hospital Director Joins Health Minister to Inaugurate Advisory Boards

The Director of Pantang Hospital, Dr. Yennusom Maalug, has joined the Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, and other dignitaries for the inauguration of Advisory Boards for Health Training Institutions in Ghana’s Southern Zone.

The inauguration marks a significant step towards strengthening governance, accountability and performance across health training institutions in the country.

The newly inaugurated boards are expected to play a critical role in ensuring that these institutions uphold high standards in the training of health professionals.

Addressing the gathering, the occasion was described as a call to duty, requiring commitment, discipline and accountability from all stakeholders to sustain excellence in healthcare training.

Dr. Maalug’s participation highlighted the important role of Pantang Hospital in advancing mental healthcare and contributing to the professional development of health workers in Ghana.
