Rikair Donates Medical Equipment Worth GH¢1.18 Million to Ghana Medical Trust Fund

Rikair, led by its Board Chairman Nana Yaw Asante and Chief Executive Officer Philip Creech-Jones, has donated medical equipment valued at GHC 1,185,800 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund in a move aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery.

The donation, which includes 15 hospital beds, eight oxygen concentrators, and essential accessories, is expected to significantly enhance patient care and support lifesaving interventions.

The items were officially received by the Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, and her team, who expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as impactful and timely.

According to the Fund, the equipment will make an immediate difference in improving the quality of care provided to patients, particularly in critical situations where access to essential medical resources is vital.

The visit by Rikair’s leadership and management team underscores growing private sector support for Ghana’s healthcare system and highlights the importance of partnerships in addressing critical health needs.

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund noted that the donation reflects strong confidence in its mission to improve access to quality healthcare and save lives across the country.
