The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) is set to convene a Round Table Discussion as part of activities marking Mental Health Awareness Month, focusing on the theme “Mental Health in the Workplace.”
The engagement is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ministry of Health Conference Room in Accra.
The event will bring together stakeholders to discuss mental health challenges in professional environments and explore ways of promoting psychological well-being and healthier workplaces across institutions.
The Chief Executive of the NHIA, Dr Victor Asare Bampoe, is expected to deliver the opening remarks, setting the tone for the discussions.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen awareness around mental health and encourage supportive workplace cultures that prioritise employee well-being.
