Ghanaian Psychologist Mabel Oti-Boadi Secures Fulbright Scholarship

Professor Mabel Oti-Boadi of the University of Ghana has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship by the Government of the United States for advanced research and curriculum development.

The Ghana Psychological Association (GPA) announced that Prof. Oti-Boadi, a former Treasurer of the association and Professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Ghana, was selected under the Fulbright African Research Scholar Program (ARSP).

The programme provides faculty members and professionals from across Africa with opportunities to undertake advanced research and curriculum development at academic and research institutions in the United States.

It also seeks to promote academic exchange and strengthen intellectual and professional partnerships between African and American institutions.

The GPA described Prof. Oti-Boadi’s selection as a recognition of her commitment to advancing psychology in Ghana and Africa.

The association congratulated her on the award and wished her success in her research and academic work under the programme.
