Aba Anderson has been named the 2026 Central Regional Best Nurse/Midwife, following her earlier recognition as the GRNMA–Cape Coast Teaching Hospital District Best Nurse/Midwife.
Anderson announced the latest recognition in a statement expressing gratitude to her patients, colleagues and mentors for their roles in her professional journey.
She said the award was not only a personal achievement but also reflected the support and trust she had received from patients and colleagues, as well as the guidance of mentors.
Anderson described the recognition as a “privilege” and a “responsibility”, acknowledging the demands of nursing and midwifery, including skill, compassion, resilience and sacrifice.
She also congratulated nurses and midwives for their daily service and said she remained committed to serving with excellence, humility and love.
Anderson attributed the milestone to God and expressed gratitude for the recognition.
