The leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), led by its President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has made a donation to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge) to support the payment of patients’ medical bills.
President Simeon-Okraku led the GFA Technical Team on a courtesy call to the hospital’s Management, where the delegation expressed appreciation for the quality healthcare services provided at Ridge Hospital.
They commended the professionalism, compassion, and prompt attention shown when a patient was recently admitted, noting that the experience reaffirmed their confidence in the facility.

Receiving the donation, the Medical Director, Dr. Leslie Issa Adam-Zakariah, expressed gratitude to the GFA President and his team for the gesture and recognition of the hospital’s service delivery.
He stated that such support helps ease the financial burden on patients while strengthening collaboration between institutions.
Dr. Adam-Zakariah reaffirmed that Ridge Hospital remains committed to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.

He added that commendation from a respected national sporting body, particularly as the country prepares towards the World Cup, serves as motivation for staff to continue striving for excellence.
The Greater Accra Regional Hospital expressed appreciation for the partnership and reiterated its dedication to advancing quality healthcare for all.
